Complaints Process

Complaints about a Board member or the Executive Director, may be submitted to the Board of Directors through the President of the Board, in writing, using the Administration Office mailing address (see Contact Us page) or using the President of the Board’s email address: averdun [at] missionservices.ca (averdun[at]missionservices[dot]ca). Please note that this option is intended as a complaint mechanism when the complaint is against a Board member or against the Executive Director. It also functions as an escalation mechanism when complaints have not been able to be resolved in spite of having gone through the organization’s standard complaints process (which includes a series of steps and engagement with staff before reaching Board involvement). We encourage all concerns to be addressed through the established procedures before contacting the Board; if you’d like information about the organization’s standard complaints process, please fill out the contact form at the bottom of the Contact Us page and let staff know how to reach you with that information.
