Nadeana Reece

Nadeana Reece is the Store Manager at Mission Thrift Store in Sarnia, Ontario, bringing with her over nine years of experience in retail and three years in academia. She holds both an MPhil and an MSc in Mathematics, and offers expertise in governance.

Originally from Barbados, Nadeana is deeply committed to service and community involvement. Her volunteer work in children and youth ministry highlights her dedication to supporting young people and creating spaces where they feel seen, encouraged, and valued.

Nadeana joined the Mission Services of London Board of Directors in 2023. She was drawn to the organization out of lifelong compassion for people experiencing homelessness and other challenging seasons of life. She finds her work on the Board both meaningful and enlightening, offering valuable insight into the realities of homelessness, mental illness, and addiction in the Canadian context.

Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, Nadeana finds balance by relaxing at home or participating in church activities, where she continues to live out her values of compassion, faith, and service.
