Ian Bagnas

Ian Bagnas is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who currently serves as a Student Psychotherapist at Family Services Thames Valley and a Crisis Counsellor with the Canadian Mental Health Association. He brings diverse experience in mental health, leadership, and ministry, having also served as a Volunteer Coordinator at the Cross-Cultural Learner Centre, where he worked to onboard 200 new volunteers, and as a Hiring Manager in long-term care homes. Additionally, Ian has spent two years as an Instructor for New Life Prison Ministry and as a Connect Group Facilitator for Evangelism at Royalview Church.


With expertise in psychoeducation, live presentations, and mental health, Ian is deeply committed to supporting individuals through both practical care and spiritual guidance. He was drawn to Mission Services of London because of its outreach to men, families, and those suffering from addiction. Ian is passionate about helping men find healing, hope, and purpose, and looks forward to helping form the work of MSL through serving on the Board of Directors.


Outside of his professional and volunteer commitments, Ian and his wife, who married in 2024, enjoy life with their dog, Leviticus (“Levi”). In his free time, Ian plays Dungeons & Dragons, teaches a small group about evangelism, and previously trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for three years.
