50 Years of Devoted Service!!!

2010 will commemorate the 50^th anniversary for the Women’s Auxiliary to Mission Services of London.  For half a century, these women have shown an unwavering devotion to aiding in the development of all aspects of Mission Services of London.

Whether raising money to purchase needed items or offering volunteer assistance anywhere they can, the ladies of the women’s auxiliary have been an integral part in the development and current success of our Organization.  With a membership of  more than 125 ladies, it is no wonder that they are able to have such a profound effect.  Bringing with them a unique set of skills and varied backgrounds, the women’s auxiliary are able to offer a diversity that has been extremely beneficial.  They are made up of musicians, teachers, accountants, and even a former MSL branch director for good measure.  It is with great admiration and appreciation that we congratulate the women’s auxiliary to Mission Services of London on their 50^th year of devotion.

In an effort to increase their donations this year, the women's auxiliary is encouraging everyone to take part in their February Challenge.  You are encouraged to collect change according to the Challenge Calendar throughout the month, and donate the change to the women's auxiliary who will then ensure it goes to provide programs and services to those in need.  Click here to view or print the calendar.  Thank you for your support.

The Women’s Auxiliary continues to be a source of inspiration and support to the work of Mission Services of London. Representing many local area churches, close to 100 of these dedicated women meet eight times per year for luncheon fellowship rotating through various London churches.

The Women’s Auxiliary has a strong tradition of providing many little extras for all of the branches through their offerings and special fundraising initiatives. Some of these funds go towards the purchase of much needed household items for The Mission Store. Their efforts to acknowledge the hard work of the staff in thoughtful ways are also much appreciated.
