Rotholme Women’s and Family Shelter has given first priority to providing families shelter in their 41 bed facility. In addition to providing food and shelter, Rotholme also provides counseling services and works in conjunction with many community partners. Children remain enrolled in their schools during their stay at Rotholme to make the transition to emergency shelter less traumatic.

In recent years, the number of homeless families needing shelter has been increasing. In most cases, these are single parent families with children ranging in age from newborns to teenagers.  But both two parent families and single parent families are also accomodated with their children.
